Every live tool runs in your browser
All 18 tools that currently work do their processing inside the page you are looking at, using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file is read from disk by the browser, held in memory, and written back out as a download. It is never uploaded, so there is no copy of it on any server and nothing to delete.
You can verify this: load a tool page, disconnect from the network, and it will still convert your file.
Tools that will need a server
16 tools in the catalogue cannot run in a browser — they need native engines such as LibreOffice, Ghostscript or Tesseract, or a machine-learning model. None of them are connected yet, so no file has ever been uploaded to Formynex.
When they do ship, each will state on its own page that it uploads, before you add a file. Uploads and generated results will be deleted automatically within 2 hours, and the tool page will say which external provider, if any, processes the file.
What is stored in your browser
The homepage remembers which tools you recently opened, so it can show them again. That is a short list of tool names in your browser's local storage — never file names or file contents. Clearing site data removes it.
Accounts and payment
There are no accounts, no sign-up and no payment. Nothing asks for your email address.
